Ramesh, Dr. Promod, Durgaji & Khan Saheb. Thanks. more
Durgaji. I agree with you. But the Fruits shown in the above chart are seasonal fruits available in the Market. Bananas, Water Melon, Pineapples Oranges or in its place Kinu,
Grapes etc are available almost through out the year. The above chart is not from a Foreign Magazine, its from a Indian Source. more
i agree, copy paste is ok sometimes, but lets keep it relevant more
Now-a-days there are several fruit-food-health related news clips. Some of these fruits and vegitables are of foreign origin and those available in India (imported) are out of reach of the poor or even middle class. My request to all the gentlemen contributing such posts is to make a little more effort in finding and suggesting near equivalent if not exact equivalent products which are easily accesable and affordable for common people. For example as I understand, locally available " ber" is a near equivalent of an apple. And so is guvava (amrud) which is rich is so many nutrients should be a good replacement of some foreign and expensive fruits. Most people like me would be thankful if we get such local equivalents. God has created just equally useful products suitable for each particular region and conditions or else all types of products would grow at every place throughout the world ! more
