Thank you very much Guptaji. In fact I had been taking little water during the day and therefore I thought I may try the quantity suggested by you. Any way I am trying to increase my intake of water. more  
Prithvi Nath ji, this does not mean that you should not drink water at other times than those mentioned here. These are the recommended timings and one should determine what right quantity of water is required by each person as Satya Pal ji has also said in his comments. The amount of water to be taken each day, will vary from person to person depending upon what other fluids he takes. Here, I am suggesting to take water as such only and not adding any other ingredients in water at these timings. more  
although there is nothing wrong in the water/banana/garlic suggestions....but which one to use when is to asked from the body more  
bahut dino ki baad ek valuable comment mila-to eat or drink as the body wants-often called 'body wisdom'- the skill is in being aware of your body needs !!!!!!!! more  
Wake up, guys, enough is enough! Do you think that following this routine of "drinking water, how much and when" is going to lead you anywhere?

Someone says, you must eat at least one banana first thing in the morning. Another suggests, that a spoonful of cinnamon+honey is a must first thing in the morning. Someone wants you to swallow a clove of fresh garlic with lukewarm water first thing in the morning. Others want you to have a spoonful of juice of mixture of "ginger+garlic+lime+apple vinegar+ avoid risk of a heart attack.

C'mon people, wake up! How about this alternative? Listen to the language of your own body, but give it only half of what your brain says it would want. .....and "implement" it every time, on every occasion........including the wedding dinners and birthday bashes!

Your worries and maladies would be over before you even know it....think! more
