3-4 week lockdown to fight against 25000 daily cases

24,375 new coronavirus cases yesterday.

It anyone thinks that by doing a weekend lockdown we will make things better, they are fooling themselves.

3 din ka to testing ka backlog hai.

We will need a minimum 3-4 week lockdown if we are to bring the daily active cases to half.

My estimate is no lockdown - Delhi to have 50000 daily cases by Apr 30th.

3 week lockdown - 15000 by April 30th and 12,000 by may 7th. more

Seema ji In India lockdown is not the only solution why dont public for own safety adopt proper measures ,why DANDA only works , yes could be mostly people are surviving on earnings, govt do not help in any way .You can advise for putting heavy penalties on Covid violation by any one ,sealing the house for fifteen days for isolation forcefully if any one found voilating rules in market , To educate public will be more effective by NGO , police deptt , govt school colleges teachers to impact on society without disrupting the normal life. more
It's easier said than done, folks; and there is no need to lie ourselves into our own sleeve. Some days ago I posted here the population figures (as received): Europe incl. UK and Russia plus USA: 110 crores Brazil plus Argentina: 25 crores The total of 135 crores compares with that of India's population alone. There's no magic wand not any Aladin Lamp that a swish will banish Covid out of here, but only concerted efforts, which will take time. more
Agree completely. But CM sahib should listen more
Rightly said , if not now then when .It seems that our politicians will not take any stringent measures until their political ambitions are achieved. Small countries have managed thus virus better than India. Who is worried about common man ? more
