24331 today at 32%+ TPR

24,331 new coronavirus cases today 32%+ TPR. Attached todays report.

My take - lockdown finally showing bit of a flattening. If they lockdown for 2 weeks we will come to 16000 cases a day after 2 weeks

If they dont we will go to 50000 cases a day

Choice is yours either push delhi cm and lg to do it or let them do whatever they want to more

Lockdown must be regional and calibrated, that too within containment zones. Lockdowns as a blanket one like last year, are costly, recall the ticket prices being charged 10 fold, for those having to earn a living by physically moving around, and become ends themselves as happened last year, needs to be factored in. Livelihoods are needed and therefore one may have regional containment zones through small area and intermittent, rather than prolonged lockdown. There too essentials, expanding the list as technology allows, must remain unlocked. more
testing is low but not due to conspiracy but because of the fact that many people are not testing samples at home due to fear of getting infected and losing their lives. real numbers must be estimated at double. since if you have one person positive his next of the kin (atleat one) is immediately infected. so i believe real figure is already 50000 a day. we need a long lockdown of atleast 4 weeks to break the chain.(only a hope). more
Lock down is needed to break the chain and bring the virus spread down to manageable level. more
Is Delhi deliberately testing less just to show lesser number of cases? Why are we not testing one lakh like before? Also, lockdown needs to be extended at least by one week more to achieve some better situation. more
BUt just have a look at the number of people tested, it down to 74000 from 1 lac . At 32% TPR the total cases are close to 33000. It is more than this as lot of people are not getting tested and are self isolating themselves as everyone is aware of the symptoms and the medicines to be taken. more
