Diet, Activity Recommendations May Reduce the Risk of Cancer, Experts Say let see what they recommend:

1. Be as lean as possible without becoming underweight.
2. Be physically active for at least 30 minutes every day.
3. Avoid sugary drinks, and limit consumption of high-calorie foods, especially those low in fiber and rich in fat or added sugar.
4. Eat more of a variety of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and legumes (such as beans).
5. Limit consumption of red meats (including beef, pork, and lamb) and avoid processed meats.
6. If you drink alcohol, limit your daily intake to two drinks for men and one drink for women.
7. Limit consumption of salty foods and food processed with salt (sodium).
8. Don't use supplements to try to protect against cancer.
9. It's best for mothers to exclusively breastfeed their babies for up to six months and then add other liquids and foods.
10. After treatment, cancer survivors should follow the recommendations for cancer prevention. more

As I understand the cancer occurs due to : a. an initiator, b. a promoter, c. a progressor these are either inherent or acquired or inherited; cancerous growth at each location have its own causes; in that case could there be a generic form of action against cancer - for prevention/protection, for reducing its impact or stop its progression? for example many a smoker continues the habit for ages and still remain unaffected and those who are tee-totalers might acquire different forms of cancer. that means there is some metabolism in the smoker which is helping him to maintain the balance in the cells and prevent them from degenerating or losing their immunities; probably we should identify that for each type of individual and make people aware of such cells which can be cultivated or retained health for life; the question is, whether it is possible? more

Thanks. Can we add the following with your permission. 1. Avoid non-stick pans. 2. Avoid microwave for heating. 3. Do not stop/delay natural urges. 4. In fruits remove thinnest peel to alleviate harms of various chemicals, pesticides, artificial fertilizers and preservative coatings including in some of the vegetables grown above the ground. 5. Wash all Daals, salads, vegetables, fruits carefully before eating, preferably with vinegars. 6. Use rubber hand gloves if you are cleaning any silver or gold jewellery by any chemicals. 7. Do not eat salads and vegetable with any meals. Keep a minimum gap of 30 minutes. 8. Watch for any unusual symptoms of irritation, burning, dribbling in urines, any unusual projection from skin (gaanth, swelling, hard/soft cyst, swelling) anywhere in body. Get it tested and get proper treatment from beginning). 9. Avoid/reduce very oily/spicy food. 10. Keep proper hydration in body by taking minimum 2-3 litres of water every day but not with meals and breakfast 11. Give a gap of minimum 3 hours from last meal to sleep. 12. Avoid/alleviate constipation by taking laxative food items like papaya, guava, figs, isabgole bhusi etc. more
