A lockdown is coming even if the People do not want it because there is no other option. And the minimum duration has to be 60 days, if we want to control the spread. We were told not to let our guards down, we did the same. we were expected to maintain social distancing, wear a mask, wash our hands regularly and avoid crowded places. But we had no time for those precautions. Can we blame anybody. We are all culprits. More so because we already knew that COVID-19 is yet not under control. It is mutating. Ample warnings were coming from U.K, Brazil, Italy and other places but No. We are Delhi walas. We always know what we are doing. more
Lock down isnt the solution now. Tht will seal the fate of 70% of the physical work force . Those working online is ok . We have to take into consideration the so many who need to commute to the work spot. The populat opinion is that there is no adequate policy measures and systematic implementation of Protocols. The responsibility of the authorities dont end sending circulars and advisories alone ; Alot depends on how it is implemented to the hilt to achieve Goals. more
Why less number of tests? No explanation. The restrictions announced are half-hearted and grossly insufficient. It is not understood as to why Delhi Government is so much hesitant in enforcing much stricter restrictions. What is the idea of giving permits for weddings? Why not put a very strict limit on numbers attending? more
It is a national problem & hence directives should have come from the central government as was done with 4 hrs notice for the first lockdown. Why doesn’t the Central government do the needful now ? It is certainly more serious now than that time. Central government knows how it failed earlier & is trying to shirk its responsibility. The health minister is playing the recorded message that there is no shortage of vaccines. Forget vaccines, it is his responsibility to ensure health of all the citizens. If he can’t, he must get out & resign before it becomes too late for the new health minister to do any thing.🇮🇳 more
