Hi, In the epf passbook in the summary section there are break ups for employee contribution and employer contribution and in the transaction details section there is one more column called pension contribution. My question is the total that is displayed in the summary section , does it include pension component as well? more

Please register through UAN member Portal and login then you may find your pension contribution account in your pass book MNR more

to make it very clear, pension contribution is deducted out the employer's contribution (8.33% of pensionable salary). When you see the employee contribution and employer contribution you always find employee contribution is more. In summary statement you find both employee contribuiton plus employer contribution after deducting pension contribution. Hene pension contribution does not include in the summary statement. more
