I worked in a company for two year between 2004 and 2006 in NOIDA. After leaving the job I worked in an accademic institution where there there was no PF facility. Presently I am working in government service and posted in Jammu.
I have come to know that the company closed down their operations some time back. How can I withdraw the PF amount? My PF account is inactive and I donot know the exact amount also. more

Thank you very much for your suggestions. What are the relevant details to be attested by my bank? Also I would like to state one thing. After I left the company, the company shifted its operations from NOIDA to Manesar, Haryana. This led to a change in PF office for the company although all my contributions would have gone to the NOIDA PF office. Does it mean a different procedure? The company has no operations as of now. I will be glad of any suggestions please. more
If you company closed down its operations, nothing to worry, you may file form 19/10C with all relevant details, duly attested by your banker where you have account, to EPFO concerned. The matter will be settled. You need not have have to how much was your contribution, if you know your PF account, that will be sufficient. more
You can file form no 19/10C duly attested by your banker where your account is maintained. form is available on www.epfindia.com. more
If you have the account no of PF of the closed down company, you may go to the EPF site and first find the Epf office where the account is connected. I think there is provision for submitting the pf withdrawal or transfer without going through the erstwhile employer. Once you know your modified pf no after giving old pf no you can register in epf site and get passbook detail. However, all this is with assumption that your pf was deposited with the EPF departemnt. more
