I have an account with EPF till 2008. Later I have moved to Middle East . If I need an UAN number now for my old account is it possible. My entire 8yrs of accumulation with EPF Pune office. Can any one suggest me how to generate an UAN otherwise can I withdraw entire amount I have accumulated? more

Here there are two querries from Mr Vanee Prasad and Prof Siraj Syed. 1. Mr. Vanee Prasad you can approach your previous employer to update your KYC details and for generation of UAN No. 2. Prof Siraj, you served as part time lecturer. Pl let me know whether there was an appointment offer with clear terms and conditions? Whether any payslip was issued? You should have checked whether the PF contributions deposited with EPFO of a trust during 2008-10 itself. When they deducted it, they are bound to deposit it with either EPFO or a Trust as the case may be. Secondly why you were silent all these years? Any how you may kindly approach the college management and ask for details, they will have to submit it. If they fail to furnish the details, it was apparent, they did not deposit with any EPFO, which is a blatant violation of the PF compliance. more

EPF was deducted from my fees as part-time lecturer by a college in Mumbai, against my wishes, in 2008-10. No number, or details, were given to me. I am now 65. Can I get the number and can I access the account? How? more

This can be accessed by any employer or employee. In addition to this there is a toll free number (18001 18005) provided to answer queries regarding UAN. more
