I am working with Ministry of Finance, Deptt. of Revenue on contract basis. My contractor is changed and EPF balance is there in my previous contractor's account. Can this account be transferred to new contractor? How? For transfer purpose do I need to contact my old contractor?

Or I go for withdrawal? Please suggest? more

If your contractor is having a separate PF code withe EPFO, you can apply for transfer of PF ccumulcations to your new contractor/agency. Get you UAN no registered with the new employer. On Fri, 22 Jan 2016 12:36:55 +0530 Manish Waila wrote > more
All you need to do is to fill in the transfer form filled with relevant data and submit to your present employer to do the needful. Only thing ensure that the present employer does the paper work correctly. more
The biggest problem is getting the form attested by the previous employer. Here comes the intervention of the government authorities to chase the employers. more
Priya Singh's suggestion should be helpful to Manish Walia. more
You need to share your UAN /PF number to currently contractor. They will link the previous account number to the recent one, and your amount will get transferred automatically. Hope this would be helpful for you. Regards PRIYA more
