Delhi CM is taking a confrontational and negative approach towards Delhi Police which is a professional force, considered to be one of the best security forces in the country. CM should leave law and order to the professionals and the Union Home Ministry. He should concentrate his energies more on development of infrastructure and not confrontation. more

Sure, it's the 'defective education' to blame...otherwise even a "Blind" can see the blatant nefarious design of so-called Opposition Parties to ensure "Failure of AAP"....Who is in Opposition...NOT Honest/Selfless Patriots but all Corrupt Contractors/ Mafia/Anti-social Elements in the garb of so-called 'Political Leaders' (Just check their track records..Shocking!!!)...Show me ONE Shastri/Patel/Subhash...Now you know why, I pray for AAP's Success, everyday!!! more
To all be known - after our idea's reached the CM, he has come up on TV and expressed he is favorable to letting Center have full control of NDMC area and leave the rest to him. Our voice was heard. We need to create more noise with CM on our side. more
Very true. Delhi CM didn't get the police under him and is sulking. The Delhi public, including me, who was craving for a change for better governance made a wrong decision during the last elections. At this juncture, nothing can be done, except wait and watch. more
Dear Amitji, If every citizen start giving suggestion on improving Police .... Who is listening? Are you aware of number of 'Police Reform Committee's recommendations, since Independence ... Not even ONE is implemented, till date. Well, I do admire your comments directly linking/ relating 'Law & Order in Delhi' with Cleaning Yamuna/Buses & Water... Thanks for your valued contribution !!! more
What is appalling is that the man does not have a single view on how to improve policing through systemic reforms. Inherent in his crazy demand is the mistaken and narcissistic belief that he can do it better than anybody else. It is not very difficult to predict that even if he is handed over the police, he will find plenty of excuses not to start governing. Ranging from VIP duty to availability (or lack thereof) of funds to information/intelligence sharing with MHA and other states, any number of excuses will be offered. Sad to see him fool the public in this childish manner. Why not instead focus on the powers that ARE available, instead of whining over the ones that are not. Since he has DJB, what stops him in cleaning up the Yamuna, in supplying 24X7 piped water in the next 2-3 years to every home (plenty of cities in India are attempting such initiatives). Since he has transport dept., why not solve all public transportation problems (his effort to just waste taxpayers money by announcing purchase of 10K buses has already drawn flak from NGT). Why not promise that next year, not even one area in Delhi will see waterlogging in monsoon. Possibilities are infinite. Only will is lacking. Moron. more
