Why should there be noodles at all?
If Ramdev promotes fast foods it exposes his lack of committment more

i posted a comment which has been deleted. I said nestle handled the situation badly. I said this because reputed accredited govt labs like CFTRI cleared the samples as ok and within limits. having been a quality assurance professional in a multinational company myself, I am sure nestle would have test data on every batch sent out of its factories as any good multinational food processing company would do as part of their quality assurance program. I was therefore surprised at their tepid response, while the media, always looking for stories, went ballistic. I also said government control organisations tend to show their muscle, rather than having a comprehensive and professional approach to protect the consumer. maybe they are short of manpower but that is for them to highlight and equip themselves. I said nothing offensive and am therefore surprised that the comment was deleted. also ultimately, all processed foods contain chemicals which are harmful in the long run. they provide convenience but not necessarily healthy. more
But his commitment is for his empire, which is spreading. more
I do not understand why this clamour is being Orchestrated...??....in favor of Nestle..??... It has been confirmed that Nestle have themselves admitted to " Excess of MSG than the permitted levels " in their Maggi noodles......The MSG was used by them to " Enhance " the taste in their taste maker. For arguments sake - let us assume that other ingredients in their product was " Within Permitted Levels "...But, the very fact that the " taste maker " had more than the permitted levels of MSG - DOES NOT EXHONERATE NESTLE....!!!...who were the producers and sellers of Maggi and ITS taste maker....!!!.... Ramdev may have utilised a market opportunity and launched his own brand of Atta Noodles to FILL IN the Vacumn in the market....!!.... I am neither an admirer of Ramdev nor a promoter of Nestle....but I have no sympathy for Nestle in this case because Nestle would NOT HAVE GOT AWAY WITH SUCH A BLUNDER IN ANY ADVANCED COUNTRY MARKET like USA, EUROPE, JAPAN, S.KOREA etc etc..SO WHY SHOULD THEY BE EXCUSED FOR SUCH A GREAT BLUNDER IN INDIA...????...ARE INDIAN LIVES SO CHEAP......?????..... more
The most unfortunate thing is that the media and the government conspired to falsely accuse Maggi, take it off the market to make place for these noodles. All of us who do not buy the hysteria knew that Maggi was being falsely accused, we now find out why. Is thhis the 'progress' that people voted for??? Is this the squeaky clean government where corruption plays no role???? more
It is unfortunate & a bitter truth that Ramdev is no longera Baba but just another one of the greedy. He grabbed huge area of land in prime areas including Delhi - CRPF training center was shifted for him. He held Yoga camp at Bandra & back in 2008 (I think) the entry fee was Rs. 5000 / person! Since you are in medical field you are already aware how "fast" food has become a rage, problems it is causing & growing at very high rate; even after telling / showing video proof that the non veg patice is made from left overs like gut, liver, lung, eyeballs, tongue ...ground together with additives & taste enhancers. Veg patice is made from rejected vegetables... Maggi was good for those staying alone, quick semi-meal .. made by reputed company like Nestle; after pushing them out the 3000 crore market is ready to be tapped, Ramdev has cashed in - promoting fast foods is against his own preaching & there is no point in saying it exposes his lack of commitment...! more
