i am no expert on ayurvedic medicines. but be warned mr prasad that the ayurvedic medicines are notorious for affects on liver. so you may want to have a look at that and meet a good bams doc. if you like, you can meet me once for your bp check. meanwhile happy walking :) more
Thanks again Dr. Saumya Mittal. I am a sr citizen (67) and have long ago (about 6years ago) was diagnosed as mildly hypertensive and was put on allopathic drug. A couple of years later, I started yoga and switched over to ayurvedic medicine. And I do not take any other medicine. Subsequent check ups all showed the my BP is normal. Last was 130/80. I love brisk walking and I have no other problem and all systems are working normally. Some gentleman in the park came up to me during my brisk walk and told me that I should not walk so fast if I am a hypertensive. Now your reply has laid to rest all doubts and I will continue with my brisk walk for 30 minutes at a stretch both morning an evening. Thanks for the correct advise. more
i would suggest you meet your physician before you try anything new more
