Few days back my wife had whole abdomen sonography at at Fortis Hosp Vasant kunj at cost of Rs 1900.My wife told all her complaints to the doctor doing sonography. But doctor insisted on prescription to see diagnosis of doctor.I explained her that doctor wants this to firm his diagnosis. She was very rude to me.I complained to Patient welfare officer at Hosp in their complaint book. She made me wait for two hours to arrange my meeting with supdt who showed no interest.Later I was told supd will call and hr has not till date.
Sonography report given was cut and paste copy of report of sonography done at Hosp three years back.My wife has a regd no and unique patient I'd no and that made copy post possible
You want a more real case of manipulation?
In the intervening period two sonography were done at SRL diagnostic at vasant Bihar who charge only Rs 1200 and doctor is more Qualified and courteous. But there sonography report shows something else which require surgery.
But fortis report does not show that thing
My wife is suffering for last 3 yrs more

SAINT STEPHENS HOSPITAL HAS GOOD REPUTATION SINCE OLDEN WHEN DR. KAVAN USED TO BE HEAD OF GYANE DEPARTMENT. more
MY EXPERIENCE WITH FORTIS SHALIMAR BAGH IS EQUALLY BAD. THE TECHNICIAN DOING HEART ECO INSISTED ON SEEING MY EARLIER REPORTS AND HEART EJECTION FACTOR AND DUPLICATED THE SAME IN THE NEW REPORT. DOCTORS IN EYE, DENTAL DEPARTMENTS WERE MORE INTERESTED IN GETTING A CUSTOMER, RATHER THAN FAIR EVALUATION OF THE PATIENT'S NEEDS. I WAS ALSO SHOCKED TO FIND ABOUT ONE HUNDRED UNUSED AMBULANCES PARKED AT THE BACK OF HOSPITAL, WHILE ONLY ONE OR TWO WERE IN USE? more
Yes Stephens is good.........if one can spare time and have patience government hospitals are good as doctors are overloaded with work there more
I feel obliged if somehow my advice have helped you. more
My deepest condolences to you. Please visit St. Stephens hospital they have very good doctors. more
