Road safety is of utmost importance as with the increase inno. of vehicles on roads, the no. of accidents and consequent loss of lives has increased manifold. The public property also gets damaged due to accidents. The existing law needs to be tuned and brought in consonants with the altered situation and the proposed bill is a great step likely to take care of consequences. The deterrents proposed are exemplary and make all concerned accountable for lapse. The bill is impressive and all those who feel concern for road safety should read and support for its early enactment.
