Recently, a 8 month old Baby was assaulted and raped by her 28 year old cousin. This ghastly act cannot and should NOT be forgotten. This was a BABY. Someone, who was absolutely defenceless and still is. She cannot fight this battle and hence it is on us as a society to ensure justice is served. Given the current laws, there is a strong chance that the perpetrator of this heinous crime will be given a few years in prison and then go scot free. Such offenders who violate our children cannot be allowed to re-enter society ever again.

We demand that for cases of child rape, the current POCSO law be immediately amended to award life imprisonment without parole and if possible death penalty and the same be done within 6 months.

We need stricter laws to deter such criminals. Please Sign this petition NOW and get every person you know to do the same. If we don’t stand up now to drive change and justice it wouldn’t be long before another such heinous crime is committed and the fault will be ours....
