Hi , My self Ruma arora and i am from Gurgaon. I worked for 9 years in a real estate firm namely Universal Buildwell pvt. ltd. left my job on 12th September 2016. Since they were not approving my last working date but they had approved my Bank details, Pan Card & Adhaar card. So in this case, can I withdrawal my PF amount? and if yes then please let me know the correct process for the same. As i have already complained in EPFO Office in gurgaon 10 months back. Please do help.

You have a point , when last contribution is made by your Co. to EPF. From the month they discontinue the contribution.

If you are new in the work force of India, then, be prepared & make your mind adapted to adapt with monopoly of employers, they will do in-numerous frauds by telling you many company policies which would actually have no legal validity, beware of that, never afraid of threats or their claims of ruining your career by not giving you salary slips/experience letters, never submit your originals to any employer (otherwise they will bring you down to slavery & make use of you), it is very very common in private sector. EPF is just one tool for them to harass & use employees, they have many methods & peoples hied by various fancy designations like 'strategic HR', HR strategies/policies, which actually means they fabricate policies by finding loop holes in labor laws & take advantage of our pathetic & hopeless law enforcement in labor division (have you ever heard or saw crack down of over flooding service companies for violating labor laws, employee harassment, sever exploitation (in many cases beyond their breaking points)? You will never see it in future as well). We neither have any minimum wage standards in our country for different experience levels in various educational degrees, like that of govt. payscale & grade pays; so, private employers are free to pay peanuts & exploit employees on the name of training. I guess employer has not given DOE, means they have made some reason & sacked you (they can do it silently & easily, nobody will listen you nor care for it, until such thing happen to them). more

Their are options on EPFO website to file grievance, merge old EPF accounts from previous employers to your current EPF account under same UAN. If employer/hr is refusing/not responding to your request to verify your KYC documents on EPF portal which you have uploaded, then, you can make greviance/complaint against it on EPFO as well. They do not respond to phone calls, just try going thorugh web method through proper option on EPFO website. more

The last working day of preceding month, since when, employer has not made epf deposit is the DOE. Just fill that date, it means you didn't get salary since then. But, you need to wait for 2 month after that DOE, before applying for EPF/EPS withdrawal fully/partially. You should not be employed at that time, otherwise, you will not be eligible to withdraw EPF/EPS. more

I don't think you can withdraw epf without DOE. When you apply for online withdrawal and the DOE is blank, you donot get option of withdrawal of EPF/EPS. You get option for only advance. Hence, having DOE is must for withdrawal of EPF. more
