Ban on Plastic Carry bags- What we can do

UN, Govt of India, NGOs, local bodies through electronic and non-electronic media, warn us against use of plastic carry bags less than 40 microns. Govt, from time to time issues notices that vegetable/fish/meat vendors , grocers and general public who are caught with carrying items in plastic bags less than 40 microns would be fined.
What about manufacturers?
As you may be aware that Govt earns from manufacturing , so they promote manufacturing for various positive effects on society. Manufacturers do not understand plastic pollution/ hazards or any type of pollution/hazards. They understand profit. They are forced to understand about pollution and other hazards associated with plastic carry bags of less than 40 microns by competent authorities.

Govt of Bharat must, without further delay , enact law, issue notices through Civic authorities to ban manufacturing of plastic carry bags of less than 40 microns. Govt will loose some revenue, however, will send a positive message to the world that it takes care about the nature and life of all.

      Even State Capitals are still backing Businessmen allowing all types below 40 microns. GOVERNMENTS NEED TO BE STRICTLY IMPLEMENT THE LAWS.
      Some Nation and Public Oriented Merchants have banned use of plastic Bags. GOVERNMENTS NEED TO BE Nation Oriented in Implementation of Laws as well as Mandating Citizens. more
