Varanasi Junction (BSB)

There is scope to improve at varanasi cantt station.
When train comes on plate form there is no display of coach.
You are lucky,if any coolie or hoker help you to identify your coach location.
Assume ,with heavy,luggage,how much it is difficult to run for boarding your coach.
This is a very basic needs ,to which no railaway officer mind.
Unlike ,at SURAT railway station in Gujarat,even the common passenger trains have dispaly for coaches.
And also it is very simple but very much useful for railawy passengers.

On varanasi Railway station,Retiring rooms are also not clean.
Bad smell appears whole night.
It is terrible.

Railways has neglected this station to the utmost possible way. U can't find even 10 chairs to seat thousands of ppl sitting on floor. What a joke that it's PM's constituency and railway minister just talks big increases fares but no improvement for basic amenities . announcent happens very late sometimes train leaving before announcement happens. Barr minimum cleanliness tobavpid diseases. Hundreds of foreigners arrive and come to station but there are no professional tourist facilities at station. I am yet to see any station worst than varanasi can't in my 30years of train journey all over India.

In bad shape. Needs immediate attention

such a immportant piligrimage station to note that it is so premitive nothing is working.
no annoucements done properly. maintenence is aweful

Retiring rooms are ugly. I had to share common toilet and bath with neighbours. No tap worked even for toilet for me and my wife I had to go to dormitory and fetch hot and cold water for us. Need to update all the rooms and provide basic needs. Nobody takes care of amenities.
