From all comments it is obvious that VMC services on roads, footpath, traffic, parking, is very bad. VMC please wake up before the citizens of Vadodara get to gether and force you.

In the name of Wall-to-Wall carpet on roads, many newly built footpaths were removed from many roads in Vadodara. Now, even on obscure roads money is being wasted to put paver blocks in the name of footpath! While many main roads do not have proper footpath ?
Tenders were invited for allotting parking space below newly built Amitnagar over-bridge long-back! But still the unauthorized use of the space by the nearby institutions as well as public continues without any regulation. Now, even the curb-stones below the bridge have been removed by unscrupulous elements increasing the dangers of accidents!

The VMC is providing super built & clean foot path to all road side vendors, lariwalas & other unauthorized people, which are creating hazardous to common people. The foot paths built for pedestrian, child, women etc. for their safe walk. But due to occupation by vendors, safety of people on roads scrapped by VMC. Also space occupied by vendors can be made free for parking, thus traffic on roads can be controlled. But some staff of VMC & even some of the corporates have good relations with vendors, taking ''haftas'' from them. So the roads , foot paths are not made hawkers free & traffic congestions appeared on all roads of city.
Even near ' Haveli' ( Temple) area of Nizampura are occupied by road side fruitwalas, other eateries creating most nuisance to the people coming for prayers in temple. Also these vendors are passing bad comments to women/ girls coming in temple for prayers. This place is hardly 1 km. from home of Hon'ble Mayor, but it seems non interested in removing these hawkers from near this temple. So many times, he is passing thro' this roads, but no action by him. Is there any daring person n VMC/ or in Vadodara for making hawkers free city? Probably not because no body wants to loose their seats in coming election.

Very poor . It is just impossible to Park four wheeler within Four Gate City Area .Authorities have still not thought of Building parking lots . The multi-level parking facilities looks dream .Only they have gained mastry in Towing crane application . First you provide facility and if any body fails to obey , then only you have right to penalize .

Try Parking Lot Management @ RC Dutt Road. Its one of the most used roads in Vadodara and it has no most unrealistic parking arrangements.
