Solapur station one of the top 100 booking stations in india. but trains are often taken on platform 2, 3 even if platform one is empty . the staircase is too steep.
a home platform could be built near platform one also a platform 5 at other side which has direct exirt and entry without satir case can be opened up and up trains for mumbai be taken on this platform . people do not like staircases. there could be aboking office this side.
last time i went to book a complaint for alte running of dn chennai mail . i was asked to complain on net . with lots of discussioin i was allowed to bok complain it was insisted i call it a suggestion it was told that we have a single line half an hour delay is not much we just can not have tome to time punctualitu. the said said train takes five and half hours from pune to solapur in contrast to five hours by other trains and then also it is regularly lated by half hour gets overtaken by shatabdi.
i was said when ticket is akkalkot why did u aligt at solapur akkalkot is beyond solapur at 37 kms
smy ticket was ac calss but i was traeted alomst like a driminal.
frankly the answer which i got was good admitting delay due to preference to other late runiing trains and it was said that an advice is given to not to dealy chennai mail
