Datawind tablet is advertising so much on television that anybody could be misled about its product .I purchased a ubslate from them through phone and i got the product.through courier.when I started using it i found many defects in it.I tried calling them on the phone no. provided but in vain.Then I sent the product to their Hydrabad address .They sent me back the tablet. I thought they might have repaired it but it was having screen defective I wrote them two emails but so far they have not replied to guide me for the address of their authorised repair shop in pune or Bombay. They are not at all sending the address of their authorised repaired though they say in advertisement on tv that they have 30 service centres in india. Nobody should buy their product otherwise they will also be in trouble like me.Now I am thinking to approach CNBC TV pehredar and consumer Court so that other people are not cheated

SCOD 18 offers cable TV services for the past 7 years. They thrive on erstwhile local cable tv providers and have taken over the services. They keep their Marketing information secretive. They never reveal their rates and allow the local agents to collect money as they please. The response of their office is very poor and they refuse to give details of their bouquets, taxes and other incidentals. In the same building they collect different amount from each customer. The service is poor. The connection will suddenly go off. They remove channels without information. They do not reduce the charges if a channel is continuously not provided for more than 3 days as per TRAI mandate. It is high time that such service providers are searched by competent authorities and fixed. Please do not recommend this entity to any body.
