Garbage pickup from our complex is ok but outside it's a mess, there's garbage everywhere in what was just 3 years back a beautiful locality.

In Mahadevpura you can see garbage every where and in some places more than half of the road gets covered by trash. After 5 years of suffering broken dirt roads they built some nice tarred stretches and you can find repulsive trash along the entire side of the road. This city doesn't have designated cemented or containers for collecting trash in each location so people throw it all over. While segregation and such measures have been introduced in many communities, there seems to be no system in place for common people who in any case have little awareness/ value for clean environment and surroundings.

The garbage collection lady regular ly comes to collect Mo thly fees. If you don't pay she doesn't collect the garbage for days & weeks...... If you may little more, she will talk sweet & smile a bit. She & her team take away the garbage collection bags also...... Need to be trained on importance of segregation, sanitary wastes, electronic wastes etc...
