There is some improvement in the area. However, incidents of breaking out epidemics, like, jaundice, diarrhoea, dangu, swine flu etc. often take place because of leakages in pipe lines making the water contaminated.

In many areas the drinking water being supplied by the Corporation frequently gets contaminated and epidemics, like, jaundice breaks out claims lives of several residents.
