Worst. Why can't we have sulabh sauchalays spread every where across the city. Hardly there are much public convenience.... Most of the in dire states.... Ladies are the biggest sufferers. Paying couple of bucks will be eventually acceptable to all of we are able to provide clean services.

No waster no maintenance broken taps broken tiles... People urinating on walls and floors... Clogged drainage... No wonder people search dark alleys nook and corners to urinate outside on streets.

this is true pmc is not doing any thing even after reporting....rising towards SMMART CITY......

at present situation is worst at nibm road,no solution yet,but hope as citizens shows right to authority...

In our Gokhale Nagar Area all roads are encroached by buildings by covering road width of 6 to 7 feet.Some of the old houses are now bought by ex corporators who have reconstructed the same by illegally occupying road width and front margins,more water connections .No space for parking because mandatory parking areas are converted to shops ,so they park their vehicles in our society roads.Mostly the vehicles are Tourist Taxis so they come and park even at mid night and afterwords drivers celebrate late night.Public Transport facility is good as Bus services are their but due to road congestion the time taken is more.

In Pune City the existence of Pune Municipal Corporation itself is questionable.because in spite of rules and regulation they are not implemented by the Corporation for day to day life.Un-Authorized constructions in the area like Gokhale Nagar,Maharshi Nagar where original houses of 250 sq.ft are re built with using all sort of margins which are necessary to be followed by all to 2500 sq.ft or more.The construction quality is also so poor that due to load it may collapse anytime.Our Society boundary wall is used to construct the buildings by such tenants who are supported by the local corporators and PMC Officials and buildings are constructed in such a way that no back side margin is left empty.same thing about front margin.The road width is used to expand the construction.Such type of constructions are done by ex corporator who has occupied at least 18 ft width on front side and has supported others also to copy him so that in case of any action he will get support from other tenants easily.The property tax levied The road width are narrowed to only 7 to 8 feet and that too occupied by the parking of two wheeler vehicles and hawkers on regular basis.
We are talking about "Smart City' but the working style of PMC needs first to be changed drastically.Road conditions are very bad.Rain water outlets needs to be repaired on war footing basis for which I have already lodged a online complaint and hope to get immediate action.In Building Plan Sanction Dept. lot of wrong practices needs to be improved a lot and corruption at all levels is to be attacked immediately.
Fortunately in our society cleaning is not a problem as the systems are controlled regularly by the resident and also by the cleaning staff of PMC,but it needs involvement from resident a lot.However the equipment's required for such job should be provided on regular basis,like garbage collection vehicle should collect the same on daily basis,so that residents are confident that garbage collection will be done on regular basis.
In any case the fund to be released for "smart City" should not be given to Corporation directly but to special unit which should be accountable for every spending.

Koregaon Park - Restaurants are making it a difficult place to leave quietly here. Parking, loittering around, all vices around. Do they have permits ?, have the parking space been allotted ?
