Until & unless drivers are mentally educated and think to live for others, this problem will exist. Traffic Police has to think on this that how to educate this drivers. I noted educated people sitting in the SUV/car restricting the road to one lane in Sector-9/15 Vashi, are not bothered when Ambulance not getting a way. As per me these type of of people are no worth to live on this earth as a human-being. Whenever I noticed this type of incident, I have knocked their window to talk and said, "let us be a good citizen". More Nos. of Big Placards with instruction as 'Vehicle will be lifted/Wheel Locked if not Parked in Non-Parking Area' are to be placed and action has to be implemented.

Parking in most nodes of NM is utter chaos. It is a combination of space shortage coupled with irresponsible and indecent behavior of the so called literates. Also even though the tr policemen try their best to bring a semblance of order it is negated by the abv said reasons. We should try out the alternate day parking in most areas and this needs to be strictly implemented. An eg of implementation is the Vashi Turbhe rd in sectot 17 which is now free thanks to the strict rule of vehicles to be parked ONLY in the newly created parking lot above the nullah in sec 16.
