NMMC is doing a great disservice to the community by permitting Politicians / Politician sponsored orgnisations to use the open play grounds to show their might by setting up grand Ganapathy pandals / Navarathri Utsav etc. The organisers spoil the play ground by putting sand, gravel, tiles on these grounds for putting pandals during the festivals. Children are unable to use the grounds during these times and the grounds are permanently damaged because of cement etc. It can injure children later when they play also. Organisers go to the extent of bringing politicians about 100 meters in their cars inside the ground to the mandals besides using trucks etc in the ground.

The festivals are a nuisance to residents around in terms of noise level while constructing / dismantling the pandals as well as loud speakers during the festivals. A typical example is sector 17 in Vashi.

In this rainy season parks where grass and greenery is missing some of patches are not maintained, My SUGGESTION. Is please fill those patch by new grass AFTER 15 th June when rainy season start WITHOUT expenses all gardens will be green because nobody using gardens in this period, this small effort will make GARDENS beautiful whole year, I wrote to municipal corporation thru Email, and surprisingly I got phone call also, they promised we will do same.

Parks and Playgrounds still not maintained properly and still more required

This is with reference to Mini Seashore (chowpatty of NM), sector 10, Vashi. Navi Mumbai. It is a beautiful spot with a central water body and a walking pathway amidst greens. However, the rim of the water body and the entire pathway is heavily littered with plastic bags and other anthropogenic material. Recently, only 5-6 bins have been placed on the front side of the water body, and the other three sides have NO bins. I have never seen a sweeper clean the area of plastic.

In my area Park and garden ares in good position . But can be more utilized and converted in education purpose to . As like practical labs of student .Also use in profitable point too.
