KARAIKKUDI JUNCTION (KKDI)

Karaikkudi Junction does not have coach position displayed in any form. They do not have a permanent display for all the trains passing the station. Nor electronic display depicting the coach numbers during the arrival of the trains, nor even a public address system.
The worst is that, they do not announce the platform in which a particular train will arrive. I had painfully been a witness to people running from main platform (1) to platform number 3 when a train bound for Chennai arrived in the station by 23:40hrs. No public address system, no display, being very late hours no vendors in the platform.......................
