Family court comes under SC. CJI has been asking for more judges. Rather he must monitor cases in Faridabad. Judges are not taking any action. They are not reading the petitions and keep giving dates after date. More than 90% cases cane be disposed in two to three months. But cases are being extended with no work. If one requires a proof I can send a real case going on under first class magistrate Faridabad.

Desperate change required. We need to have judges who are mature, well educated, well read, have knowledge on various matters both judicial and otherwise, who have a passion for what they do and not just holding a govt job. They need to understand that peoples lives are at stake and not take what they do for granted and deal with their work arrogantly, unsensitively and with no accountability. It is time there was a body to hold the judiciary accountable for corruption, malpractice, contempt of court, not doing their duty etc. The judges should also be on short term employement and if they do not perform they should be let go. Similarly the public prosecutors are an embarrassment and disgrace to the system. We need to set our standards much higher.
Judicial Reforms are definitely needed . Though the issue of NJAC had thence been sidetracked , the System of Collegium and , the Operation of Supreme Court is to be supported with a Separate Intelligence and Vigilance Wing . It has to be endowed with full financial powers having direct access to the honourable President of the Nation for necessary sanctions .

A Specific Bench is to be mandated for compliance of Constitutional Provisions to the Citizen of India since Political Democracy and the system set is keeping its Citizen away from the Provisions of their own Constitution .
