Their 3D Secure system is so strong that it does not differentiate between a fraud and a genuine transaction. Bank which does not honour its own code of conduct. Does not entertain genuine frauds.

Senior citizens have to be careful about their account balances especially when they hold a debit card. It enforces the lien taken at the time of issuing a credit card. They have the lien to disturb your credit ratings because of frauds.

Police complaints, RBI Circulars and Consumer Redressal Fora decisions are of no consequences to it. It has a good record at the Ombudsman. Second highest complaints at Ombudsman i.e. 9541 complaints of credit/debit cards from the total of 32,740 complaints lodged with the Ombudsman in 2016-17, which works out to 29% of the total complaints lodged. This does not include the fraudulent transactions accepted by its customers but not appealed.

Excellent rapport with the Ombudsman. It takes only 15 months to tell you that your case requires an in depth study of the fraud but does not find it necessary to question the bank what it did during that period.

A letter written to the MD does not find the courtesy of even an acknowledgement.

Even after closing the account 1 year back & I have both closure slips for DMAT & Bank A/C,, after demonitization they started sending me email messages that I have an open bank a/c. Spam emails is another harassment from ICICI, despite being in NDNC. Complaints sent through registered post office, were not accepted by the bank. After that I closed the bank account but the spam mail harassment has not stopped.

I am also ICICI Bank account holder but I am satisfied with the services and security system.

They made compulsion having bank debit card to do the online transaction.
This is because of grid printed on back of Debit card is to be use to authenticate online payment, unlike other bank which use OTP or secret question/ answer.
