got my car insurance renewed by HDFC ERGO after the expiry of previous insurance done by ICICI Lombard. Everything done on line and I got the renewed policy through post also. Suddenly after 2 months of the renewal, I started getting 5-6 messages through SMS, E-mail that your policy is cancelled. You submit your previous insurance of ICICI Lombard. Reason was never shared and all the messages were with the annotation < Do not reply >. I have complained it to IRDA, HDFC ERGO has sent me a message that your policy is cancelled and the amount is returned to you. I have not yet got the money so far.
You can imagine the unprofessionalism of this organization, they can cancel the insurance after 3 months, without sharing any reason to you. I wish I would have renewed through ICICI Lombard only. Just to save couple of thousands and recommendation of Policy bazaar, I selected HDFC ERGO. It was a big mistake.

4 years back Got call from HDFC bank to sell HDFC ergo policy , which i agree as it looks lucrative , they just ask me one qns if I am suffering with any disease and unfortunately I said no since there was no time to think and diseases were not elaborated. After 4 years got admitted for fall bladder stone First they admitted then rejected then admitted and then rejected and cancel the policy after taking 4premiums . As per them I did not disclose that i am have asthmatic problem which most of the people in delhi have . They could not establish any relationship between ashtma and gall bladder stone. NEVER BUY ANY POLICY UNLESS YOU HAVE SEEN WHAT YOU ARE WRITING. They will keep taking your premium and will never pay your claims
