GUNTUR JUNCTION (GNT)

Just look at Tenali station. It got escalators lifts what not all the things it got. And Guntur, even being the headquarters of Guntur Division, no escalators, lifts no proper waiting rooms, nothing. Even small stations got LED display boards on each platform, where as in Guntur only in 1 and 4 platforms got these things. They display the trains coming on that platform well in 3 hours advance, where as here no such things. In Bangalore City railway station, inside the subway there are 4 lifts to ferry passengers. In Guntur just one. Why Tenali got three lifts. At least now open the eyes. Though it is not concerned here I wish to point out two things about trains. Machilipatnam- Yaswanthpur train takes 16 hours to travel, where as Yaswanthpur-Machilipatnam train takes 13 hours time. How is it? Even 13 hours also a lot of time and it can be reduced to 10 or 11 hours. These trains are unnecessarily stopped in various stations for the reasons best know to the department. Also they have to change the departure time of this train at Yaswanthpur, as it is unnecessarily detained at Yalahanka just because Prasanthi express had to go first. (Of course that is a dirty train). Again please change the terminus point of Palnadu Express to Secunderabad or to some other station so that the train runs on time. No passenger is travelling to Vikarabad in this train, it is just a waste. Atlease change it to Sankarpalli.
