One of the Oldest Junction in India.. It has opened in 1872 but till now it doesn't have any new buildings.. And the all trains are diverting on the GY-DHNE section, with this the Junction the losing it's importance.. No express train is not their from this Junction to SC,SBC,BZA OR MAS.. only passengers are starting from this station..
The Govt.. sanctioned Electric loco shed but till now only temporary shed had been build for re-hauling the locos..
We hope in this budget at least 1 express train should train start from GTL.
