Garbage Management is very pathetic.

I live in Ashoknagar near Indira park people adjacent jawaharnagar dump garbage on the roads in spite of having garbage collection house to house vans

Right next to our community in the Bachupally (Hyderabad 500 090) area (adjoining Nizam Talab), unsorted and untreated garbage and other solid waste is being indiscriminately dumped by private operators and being subsequently set on fire by associated unscrupulous elements!
Such activity leads to harmful aerial pollution and contamination of the sub-soil, as well as leaching of deadly toxins into the Nizan Talab, which is a critical part of our eco-system.
Through this forum, I request GHMC / Bachupally Panchayat to put an immediate stop to this illegal dumping and burning of garbage in close proximity to many schools, colleges, densely populated residential areas and the sensitive eco-system of Nizam Talab and to impress upon the Collector, Medchal / Malkajgiri District the urgent need to relocate this unauthorized dump-site and, thereby, prevent further degradation of this vital water body!

Area is swept once in a week but majority garbage is not lifted, they are made into heaps and left on the sides of the road.

The garbage dumping near to residencial locality by the GHMC contractors and not disposing it to main dumping station, instead they are burning it there it self. Local collecting safaiwalas also throwing the garbage in Open land and burning it. The open land of HMT which was an asset to us during the summer months and in rainy seasons now became a nightmare due to burning and piling up of the garbage. We represented so many times to our local MLA and Corporator but no permanent action is initiated so far. We hoped that now our Telangana government is in power in state and in GHMC also so we will be benifited. But it is very sad to say that no improvement is shown in last 10 months of new governing body of GHMC. I request the Mayor to visit our area and solve the problems as early as possible.
