A customer who purchased the products through online shopping has stated her experience of buying a dress (gown) costing Rs. 1100/-. The material received was defective and sought refund of the money paid. She has to take help of a consumer helpine to receive the money back. The company does give auto mail response to the complaint and thereafter remain silent to the issue raised. This prompted us to visit public domains to find the credibility of the shopping site. It surprised us when we find lot many complaints and almost complaint was for defective material, shipping unstitched product instead of stitched one, shipping double tripple the size what consumer has ordered, inordinate delays in shipping the material and then non-refunding the money. Some of the other problems reported are non-attending to the calls, non-response to the complaints. A sample shows more than 25 complaints just in a period of 6 days. The company has stated refund period to be 15 days but it seems it is only to attract the consumers.
