Ever increasing passengers entering, waiting and leaving the Central Station of Chennai is a challenges to Rly. Administration. But we have to render justice to the passenger both poor and rich. Generally poor people prefer passengers, day trains, cheap affordable fare, minimum comfort, reaching their destination quickly. The Railway Administration must try to satisfy their needs to get in to their hearts. Such passenger trains can start from the Sub-urban Station adjacent to Central Main Rly. Station, so that extra crow could be reduced. Much frauds is said to be taking place in giving contracts to amicable Call Taxi Operators to the administration. Prepaid Taxi stand within Central is not upto the mark and we have to adopt the system that is followed in BANGALORE CITY STATION. The G.M. of Southern Railway must decide 3 or 4 leading Call Taxi operators to have their booth to cater the needs and only Railway Police must take charge to regulate the Prepaid Taxis and Taxis. City Police has fail to do proper justice to passengers. Removal of licence to private Hotelers like SARAVANA BHAVAN has very bad impact on the travelers who desire to have quality food stuff. Hence good Hotels should be allowed to operate within the visinity for the benefit of passengers. CONSTANT VIGILANCE ON THE MOVEMENTS OF BAD ELEMENTS, CHILD/WOMEN TRAFFICKING AGENTS IN THE PLATFORM, PIC POCKETING AND OTHER CRIMINALS SHOULD BE NABBED WITH OUT HESITATION. EXCEPT FEW STALLS AND FEW STALLS FOR PASSENGERS HELPING DESK, OTHER SHOPS SHOULD BE REMOVED SO THAT THERE WILL NOT BE ANY CONGREGATION OF PEOPLE. FOR ELDERS AND INVALIDS, ELECTRIC CARS MUST ME MADE AVAILABLE AT SPECIFIC SPOT AND DISPLAY BOARD MUST BE HUNG ABOUT THIS.
Mere changing of tiles, display boards, and rearranging searing arrangements without practical approach should be changed. Arrival and Departure of Trains must be displayed on the Electronic Boards hung at visible places more than 3 or 4 places. Frequent announcement about arrivals, delay in departure etc.
