HYDERABAD: Fire services need to improve alertness. Generally they come after everything is burnt. First of all it is the duty of concerned persons in apartments/shops/offices to frequently check their electrical connections and to take additional care for all fire hazardous items. We just cannot say anything about this. Further the Fire Dept. should be in alertness always to jump into action. In addition to this there is need for give way for the fire and ambulance vehicles in the roads. Unfortunately our roads are not wide enough to give way to these vehicles.
