The road resurfacing work is most inefficient and corrupt. Last week this confirmed in a Mayor Shri Gautambhai's raid on one resurfacing of road site. The resurfacing work on Ramdevnagar Char Rasta is really hell. There are all the chances of cyclist/soocterists getting slipped because of very poor resurfacing. Same way the road from ramdevnagar to isro is in pathetic condition. The resurfacing work is very poor and dangerous. How the bills of contractors are passed? Either without inspection or by getting hefty bribes. God bless the people of Ahmedabad and give good sense to these corrupt officers of AMC & Road Contractors. Mangal Ho.

Roads are paved with inferior quality materials and not leveled in sliding position so that the rain water slips down immediately and does not collect on the road. There is no mechanism to inspect them strictly so that payment can be withheld or penalty may be imposed to the contractors in cases of deviation from the laid down standards for road construction and pavement. The concerned officials of the Corporation and the Contractors are not made accountable for their lapses. As a result, the roads get damaged with pot holes after every rainy season compelling the Corporation to incur and waste crores of rupees on repavement of roads every year.
Sufficient nos. of Public toilets and waste/garbage collection boxes are not constructed/installed in all important areas of the city to ensure cleanliness in the city.
There is no campaign or public program/meeting in various wards of the city to inculcate clean habits in the minds of the public and help maintain cleanliness in the entire city.
The concerned ward officer, municipal councilor, MLA and MP are not involved actively in the country-wide campaign of "Clean India".

No intention to work at all.
An app(AMC CCRS) was launched last year to track and fix issues/concerns of residents, but no difference in the attitude, they are not willing to do and you cannot do anything about it. Till date i have lodged 2 complaints (they close it after sometime without solution, i re--opened them twice but they get closed after few days).

once a guy who claimed to be corporater of my ward called me to discuss the problem but he gave lame excuses - it doesn't come under him. Engineers have to do it blah blah blah

Roads are not maintained properly
Engineers and contractors and corporators are also inloved in malpractices.

A lot more to do. Roads are littered with plastic bags everywhere. Particularly pan masala, tobacco wrappers. Particularly around the shops. I rate the condition as low to very low.
