Ahmedabad Junction (ADI)

Ahmedabad Jn, known as Kalupur, is very dirty, crowded and lacks upkeep of facilities.
Outer Foyer near PF#1 is always occupied by paxs sleeping on floor, as they arrive hours before time from hinterland / villages.
Station Master (SM) should shift them to North corner of PF#1 and keep the main entrance foyer clean & vacant.
Food stalls are necessary. Add InterNet shop, Xeroxing/copying stall, Telecom shop. At the most, keep them away from central foyer/ tket windows.
VERY SHOCKING = Once a stall owner said that SM brings train only on those platforms which give free Chai-Nasta to SM/TCs !!!
One Sr.TC confirmed that. I visited SM office to complain, he ignored me. So I wrote though Guj Chamber of Commerce when SM replied me to meet him !! He refuted and I agreed .
Fact remains that Best of the trains like Guj Mail (pride of Guj for last 5 decades ) and Duranto Premium are sent to PF# 4 or 5.
In Good old days, Guj Mail was always on PF#1, the beloved train was numbered by WR as 1Dn / 2 Up.
REQUESTS TO STN MASTER =
1 = THE YARD ON SOUTH SIDE OF STN IS SO COMPLEX THAT TRAINS TAKE 15 MINUTES TO TRAVEL 2km FROM MANINAGAR TO AMDAVAD. S.M./ RLY SHOULD REDESIGN THE YARD
2 = AHMEDABAD STN, a 1000 Crore Real Estate, needs better management for better revenue.

Too much food stall on platform and there is very little space for moving of passenger. Dirty station. waiting Hall is crowded. Passenger cannot sit any where.

Too many food stalls on platforms and they are encroaching on public spaces, meant for passengers to sit or stand. They create more filth , gas cylinders are kept in an unsafe condition. Hygiene is lacking as food is prepped in the open, flies and dust gets on to food when trains come and wind generates flying dust. Anyway, railways should have food courts outside the station, just like parking spaces, where people can buy their food and beverages and enter the platforms

Still Cleanliness is required  on all the platforms since other than First PF all others are not maintained properly and the concerned authorities must take necessary action to improve the same
