Most of the trains from the south including late running trains with destination Bhubaneswar will stop at Khurdha Road junction for an abnormal time of 20-30 minutes. Thereafter, it will move towards Bhubaneswar. This sort of delayed departure at Khurda Road, embarrasses the long journey passengers including sr. citizens and sick people. Further, the Bhubaneswar bound trains will generally arrive on platform No.2 which has no lift/escalator facilities for the passengers to reach Platform No.1. Efforts may be made to arrive such trains in Platform No.1. Further, the cleanliness of the trains is poor between Vishakhapatnam and Bhubaneswar. Begging on trains may be stopped.
