I travelled to Pune on 13-08-2015 vide PNR no. 2307077632, caoch A1, berth 7. For this i had to book 4 times as every time I was allotted only a side lower berth against my request for lower berth & at time of booking nearly 50 berths were available in 2AC. So 4th time, I waited till it became RAC & took a chance if I could get a lower berth, which clicked. So ITCTC software is not properly desiged to take care of Senior citizens.
After boarding train new problems started. We were welcome by Hot "Nibu Pani" & mineral water bottle. When waiter was requested to supply cold Nibupani, he refused as train had just started. It was followed by cold soup in another 10 minutes.
linen was dirty, which was changed only when insisted & he took a complaint on envelope. During journey we were provided with sub standard cold lunch & dinner. Insteag of Haldi Ram snacks, only some local snacks wer served. At the end of day, a formal complaint was given to Train Superintendant, Mr. Bansal but as usual Railways do not care to really look into problems & deficiencies in their services for improvement. Here in local circles we all make suggestions, which are seen by Railways as hypothetical and seems are not even read by some one. what to talk of action. I am yet to get an acknowledgement of my complaint even today.
Unless Railways are open to accept suggestion & look into deficiencies areas, No Improvement is possible. Of course subeject to change in attitude of employees.
At present Rating cannot be more than "poor" for both 12263 and 12264 trains
