"This local online community is a great example of how technology can further a Social Cause, create awareness about the need for Blood Donation and bring local community committed to Blood Donation, together", said Sudarshan Agarwal, Chairman of Rotary Blood Bank and Former Governor of Uttarakhand and Sikkim. "The power to save a life lies within you so commit yourself to Donating Blood", Agarwal urged the residents of Delhi/NCR.

"LocalCircles mission is to strengthen local communities by building Real Identity based trusted online communities within a city enabling citizens to connect with their Neighborhood, Workplace, Child’s School, Health Care, Needs and Interests. "Blood is a very local need and LocalCircles is pleased to work with the Rotary Blood Bank and provide the online local platform for BLOOD in Delhi/NCR", said Sachin Taparia, Chairman of LocalCircles. "LocalCircles already has private online communities for 125 neighborhoods of Delhi/NCR and another 125 neighborhoods are expected to have LocalCircles deployed within the next few months", said Taparia. "If a Blood Donation camp is being organized in South Delhi, LocalCircles can provide an easy and targeted way for the camp organizers to reach out to the residents of South Delhi neighborhoods", continued Taparia.

All residents of Delhi/NCR committed to the cause of Blood Donation or interested in it are invited to join this circle on LocalCircles. Everyone must provide their exact name, address details and Blood Group during sign up and use the SIGN UP code of "BLOOD".
