LocalCircles and Indian Cancer Society roll out Delhi/NCRs first online local community on Cancer Awareness and Support

Cancer local circle to establish online connectivity between cancer survivors, cancer patients and their families, experts, care givers, and citizens of Delhi/NCR

New Delhi, India, November 15, 2013 LocalCircles (www.localcircles.com), the world’s first comprehensive local social network that helps improve daily lives of citizens, announced today that it has made a new local circle available in Delhi/NCR on Cancer Awareness and Support in partnership with the Indian Cancer Society.

This circle brings together cancer survivors, cancer patients and their families, cancer experts, care givers, support organizations and the citizens of Delhi/NCR thereby creating an online local ecosystem committed to fighting cancer, creating awareness, learning from each other and taking preventive measures to avoid cancer.

"Local community enablement, interaction and collaboration in constructive ways can solve some of the biggest challenges that we face as a society today and the only way that can happen effectively going forward is electronically and that is what LocalCircles enables" said Sachin Taparia, Chairman of LocalCircles. "LocalCircles is pleased to roll out this online local community on Cancer in Delhi/NCR and be a part of the Fight Against Cancer mission", Taparia continued.

"Knowledge and experiences of cancer survivors, cancer experts, caregivers can be very beneficial for current patients fighting cancer and for Delhi/NCR citizens in becoming aware about Cancer", said Govil. "In addition to this, the circle will also be utilized by the Indian Cancer Society to outreach and interact with local community, organize various camps in the city and to share Thought Leadership on the subject" Govil continued.
