It is absolutely pathetic to see the passengers travel in unreserved compartments in this bi weekly train.No place whatsoever even to ground the feet .It is distressing to see them being transported like cattle going for slaughter in Vans . At least the cattle have Ministers and M.P's to will listen to the voices and take cudgels to improve the facilities . * I don' want the railways to wait till some calamity [many can happen like suffocation, exhaution, toileting difficulties.] and the resort to adopt some some easy methods washing their hands away [Insurance ] . IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF RAILWAYS TO SAFE GAURD THE LIVES OF THE PASSENGERS WHO WERE ALLOWED TO BE TRAVELLED IN THEIR TRAINS WITH OR WITHOUT TICKETS.
The 2 stars naturally goes only to the Gaurd and the Engine drivers . Now this rating should open the eyes of the Administration where they stand and what they have to do . This was also posted on 7th .

Thiruvandapuram Guwahati Express 12507 / 125 08: [weekly train originating on Tuesday from Thiruvanadapuram ]
It was a night mare on the very first day of this year 2015 , when I boarded at Coimbatore on the very first day of the year at 01.30 A.M. The train came in time . My ticket was booked in Sleeper class[ well ahead ]confirmed so I was casually waiting for the compartment be boarded . But to my surprise the doors on both sides were locked from inside ; when I saw through some glass windows couldn’t see any moving place at all. I was a good 500 km away from my home . What to do at the wee hours ,being a 71 year old ?
Luckily the T.T.E came as a God and made the illegal occupants to open the door to let me [legitimate passenger ]in and occupy my birth which was occupied by 3 people . How do you like it ? There was no place to keep my measly baggage also . Managed and once the train left people started sitting near my head and legs . I had to tell the people near my head to move out ; didn’t feel like doing it to the people at my feet as they were women with children. Between the 2 lower births 2 people were sleeping on baggages . One had to be a gymnast to go to the toilet wading through the crowd all through . To make it to and fro took 20minutes. My Indian empathetic mind accepted as I could see so many families with women and small children. I wasn’t a member of “make railways better” then . Otherwise you would have taken some pictures of the situation and posted to you to see the position . There was no R.P.F. to regulate in a reserved compartment. Even if he was there he would have to to be a super gymnast . In my estimation that sleeper compartment which is meant for 72 passengers there would have been 225 passengers [153 illegitimate passengers ]
What is the explanation the railways has to give for the legitimate confirmed ticket holders ? Do we have to succumb to this which is purely manmade [that is railway staff ] ?
I have sent a resource post in detail on causes for overcrowding and also the solutions on 7th July . I will post it again when I get a chance some one interested so that they can add their inputs .
Will not anyone voice their concern on this issue pleas e so that the railway administration wakes up ?
The 2 stars are for the Driver, Gaurd and the T.T.E who let me in ! If Railway administration was sensitive the other 3 stars would have been contemplated .
