I, a senior citizen, travelled on 21-07- 15 vide PNR 8458123772 in coach A2. following problems were faced (1) at 11.30 AM it was noticed that there is no water in wash basis. Train supt. was informed immediately but no water could be arranged during entire journey & persons were forced to buy water bottles even to wash hands & use in toilets or go to other coach (2) There was no power in A3 coach from Pune itself & same was arranged by drawing a temporary wire from coach A2, resulting in that electrical panel door could not be locked & kept on hitting passengers through out journey (3) There was no charging point in 1st cabin i.e. berth 1 (4) As it was raining outside there was heavy leakage at my seat from window & I got wet. When train Sutd. was conveyed he said half the train is leaking so waht can he do? (5) Linen supplied was not washed & pressed. However, another linen was provided in place of dirty one. A separate complaint was aslo taken by attended.
IT IS PAINFUL TO WRITE THAT A COMPLAINT VIDE BOOK NO. 374 VIDE PAGE NUMBERS 049 & 050 DATED 21-07-15 WAS LODGED WITH TRAIN SUPERINTENDANT BUT RAILWAY HAD NOT EVEN BOTHERED TO ACKNOWLEDGE TILL DATE, WHAT TO SAY ACTION?
THIS IS HOW 2 AC SENIOR CITIZEN PASSENGERS ARE TREATED & IN LOCAL CIRCLES WE TALK OF IMPROVEMENTS BUT REALITY IS DIFFERENT.
