18% experienced vaccine shortages, did you?
As always, members of various circles were one of the first ones to report vaccine shortage issues in certain centers esp in Maharashtra and Delhi NCR region. Below is the link to our circle survey

While the shortage is nowhere close to what some political leaders are claiming but at the same time there are real instances of stockouts at certain centers in some states. Also, it is quite possible that declining vaccine hesitancy and local distribution issues are playing a role in this shortage along with supply capacity of vaccine makers.
We are escalating to the Government so they quickly act. Also, 56% of you are supportive of Government getting foreign vaccine makers like Pfizer, Moderna, J&J, others to India for trials. At this stage it should not be about Indian versus Foreign but saving Indian lives and reducing cases of COVID-19 so a third wave does not come to India post July because majority of willing adults are vaccinated.

Our Prime Minister must give a open Statement to the public via all media that there is no want of vaccines in this country and all those who want to have their vaccination could go to the private or Govt Hospitals at any time and get shot. This will give a faith over the Governments action in this regard. more

The action suggested needs lot of planning and resources which may not be available at the present environment. more

Government made a mistake of allowing all aged above 45 years to get the covid jab without understanding the total popolation and the availability of vaccine & it's distribution. The age relaxation should have been in steps of 5 years. Mobile vaccination in villages can be for all age groups so that they are covered in one go. more
