Arrest of CMD of PSU Bank welcome step. But a word of caution. CBI should probe CMD/ED and directors on the Board especially independent/professional. They are the most dangerous people. If CBI follows /lay a trap on Directors, cleansing of system will start.

Entire systems have rotten due to corruption in our COUNTRY. More the Educated people , higher the corruption ind the corrupt ideas. God only can save this country. Everybody knows where the corruption is going on. Hope PM NaMo should (Already started taking some steps) to eradicate it from the roots itself. more

A person who is working in higher level position should have self discipline. Though it is applicable to all, particularly working in higher level position person should be honest and an example to their subordinates. more

Why should Public sector Banks get CMD /ED nominated by Gov . It should be through normal recruiting procedures and screening can have RBI/Finance Ministry representative on the selection Board. Needless to say the candidate should not have any Police / enforcement Directorate or investigating agency report more

Corruption is much bigger an issue than this small incident. These are outcomes not the cause of corruption. To eradicate corruption what's required is a change in people's mindset. Our thought process is peculiar and hypocritical. We want our leaders to be honest but in our private life we would like to get things done by hook or crook. The leadership in a society is a reflection of the social values in which we live. It has become a practice in our country that the powerful bends and twists the rules for personal benefit. go to any govt. office regular work won't move if you don't bribe. If genuinely we want to stop it we have to first start it. Can we, all the members of this forum, take an oath we will not pay bribe or take bribe? We won't do anything to bend the system for benefit of our near and dear ones? We would strive to develop an atmosphere where reward goes to the person who deserves it? these are some basic question we need to ask ourselves. coming to Banks specifically, Public Sector Banks as a whole have become blood suckers. surviving on tax payer's money without any accountability and that's the reason barring 5 all other's are making losses. See how shamelessly Mr.Mallya is roaming around after gulping 8000 cr. of tax payers money. There is nothing called Customer Service. Staffs are having ridiculous attitude as they know nothing wrong is going to happen to them. We require to bring in lot of reforms in this sector. This is one MD, if probed properly 90% of the MD's will be behind bars. more
