Pradhan Sevak aur uske Sevakon ka dil mange more........

Four years ago, the members of Parliament had given themselves a 300% hike in salaries and managed to double their allowances. But that clearly wasn’t enough for them.

Now, a parliamentary panel looking into salaries and allowances has put forward to the government a list of 27 perks — from cheap housing loan to official vehicles to guest houses for lawmakers in all state capitals.

The wish list also includes a further enhancement in constituency allowance of MPs and salary of their personal assistants.

The panel further suggested that MPs should be allowed to travel with “companions” and not just “spouses” in trains. At present, MPs enjoy free first-class train travel anywhere in India with spouse.

The joint panel on salaries and allowances of MPs has so far held three meetings since September on these issues but they are still waiting for the Modi government’s response.

The panel is headed by BJP MP Yogi Adityanath.

Lawmakers have also demanded security for chairpersons of parliamentary panels when they move outside Delhi, MP’s quota in Kendriya Vidyalaya to be at least 15 seats in a year, enhancing MPs local area development (MPLAD) fund and giving diplomatic passport to former MPs. more

Dear Shiv Avtar Agarwal Ji, Thanks for appreciating my view points on various subjects. In this blog, I wanted to emphasize that all BJP MPs are now shamelessly demanding number of unfair and funny perks and facilities which are not justified by any stretch of imagination. i.e. they want guest houses in every state capitals, quota of 15 seats for each MP in Kendrya Vidyalayas, not only their spouse but all supporters to be allowed free travel in India while travelling with MPs etc. more
What better can be expected of our democracy, whose definition seems to have been twisted to mean 'for the legislators, of the legislators & by the legislators'. Each time such a bill is put up, is the most peaceful legislature functioning and a unanimous vote for the bill. more
Article 39 of the constitution of India says that the operation of the economic system does not result in the concentration of wealth and means of production to the common detriment [Unreasonable profiteering and the so called land acquisitions (often forced usurping of agricultural land or water meant for irrigation) for establishment of real estate or SEZ as part of developments should precisely not be construed to aid concentration of wealth against constitution] more
I have full faith in AK/AAP who will stop this loot of Tax payer's money. CBI director kicked out of 2G investigation by SC of India, what a shame for our beloved PM, Modiji, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Arun Jetley & other BJP stalwarts for exposing Ranjeet Sinha by SC AND their failure to defend Ranjeet Sinha. Our Govt has no answer to doling out Rs6200 crore to Adani for coal extraction at Australia, from SBI, in violation to all norms, & when all other banks particularly all foreign banks turned down this loan request by Adani. Modiji kahete thee "kiisi ko panjja nahi marne dungaa Tiijori me...." EYSE HI TIJORII KHALI HO JAAEGA BAHUT JALDI... MODIJI/BJP KA MEHERBANI SE. Subrata Guha more
Because they are rule makers and will eat first and best, thereafter left out will be distributed among others. But now there may be very less left out for distributing among Govt employees in the form of DA. There is very shortage of money with the Govt to increase the pay and perks of Govt employees of Group B,C and D because they are in another category of inferior human beings which need very less to survive. They can survive in lower and higher temperature and can survive without food or water for many days. In other hand our politicians can neither survive with less things or without superior things, hence they need more pay and perks on the name of public servants and pension facilities. Only God or AAP can do justice with these lower level employees or unemployed or on private workers.
