Non receipt of cash back for 4 months for my ICICI fastag toll payments
Fastag users are supposed to get a credit of 5% cash back on their toll payments every month. I have paid tolls over Rs.1500 during the months of OCT, NOV, DEC 2018 and JAN 2019 but yet to receive the 5% cash back in my Fastag account till date. When enquired with ICICI bank( issuer of Fastag) they claim money has not been received from National Highway Authorities of India(NHAI).
When enquired with NHAI they simply take a complaint with a ack.number and say they will forward to ICICI bank.
And we have Mr. Nitin Gadkari being applauded and congratulated for all the wonderful work he has done. As far as I am concerned I beg to differ. This may be a small issue but it shows the system is not working. I am thinking of surrendering my Fastag and pay cash as before.....why block money in Fastag account? more

I bought FASTAG since it may save some time in Toll Gates. But for every time, we load the amount, we have to pay the transaction fee which is approximately 1.5%. We follow electronic transactions to reduce the workload of staff and easier payment. Instead of encouraging this, by adding a transaction fee, they discourage this. With delay in CashBack (5%), it still adds the problem. more
