Many of you since April 20 have been sharing your inputs on reopening of schools and LocalCircles has been escalating to Home, Health & Education Ministry and Chief Secretaries of states and every time our recommendations have been considered in the final decision. For the first time, as Covid-19 cases reduce, the survey is suggesting re-opening of schools. Below is the link to the latest report:School Reopening SurveyWe invite you to share the report with other parents in your child's school, teachers and school administrations for their awareness and action. It is time to get children back to school while staying extremely vigilant about the new strains. We do not know where things will be in June/July given experiences of UK and USA and hence, opening schools at this time may be the right step in most states just in case India experiences another spike in summer.If you have additional inputs, do share as always!

Or as High Court has directed, give laptop and internet connection to students who are economically weaker for accessing classes online. Let all the stakeholders have equal resources then alone justiciable and justifiable citing corona virus as reason in keeping schools shut. more
